What are they all talking about? Why, the Alpha Phi Omega National Convention!. Brothers from around the country will be "Rising to Serve" this December 27-30, 1996 in Phoenix, Arizona at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Every active chapter should plan to send at least two voting delegates.

Come to Phoenix and join in the fun and excitement. With average December temperatures in the 60's, we will have serve the fraternity and the city of Phoenix with more events than you can imagine:

  • Participate in making decisions that impact the fraternity's future.
  • Attend workshops in such varied topics as membership and recruitment, leadership development (including the day-long leadership development workshop), crafts and A Phi O, conflict management and massage.
  • Work on a service project such as the sports memorabilia auction, ugliest brother on the board contest, making sandwiches and a canned food drive.
  • Meet brothers at a "singled-out" ice-breaker, TWO large banquets, dances, alumni events, talent show and the APhiO Coffee Bar.
  • Explore Phoenix: go on a hike, visit a museum or visit the Grand Canyon!

So come to the southwest - there's plenty for pledges, petitioners, actives, staff, alumni and friends. Mark your calendar now to be a guest at our fest! Be a part of history and be a part of the fun. Don't miss the chance to ring in the new year with 2500 of your close personal friends (from the U.S., Canada, and the Philippines)!
