Paragliding

One of my hobbies is paragliding, which is similar to hang gliding except that paragliding utilizes a non-rigid wing that looks like a large parachute. I plan on putting more information and pictures on these pages as time goes on. For now, you can see one of my early lesson flights as well as a series of pictures of my instructor (and close friend), Dave Broyles flying another friend's (Hugh's) new hang glider. My brother Chris took a series of pictures of me launching from Little Black Mountain in San Diego in 2000.

Every sport or activity has its clubs and associations and foot-launched aviation is no excpetion. I'm a member of the North Texas Hang Gliding Association as well as the United States Hang Gliding Association.
