Final Year Project: Pothole Detection System using Machine Learning on Android
• Pothole Detection System uses accelerometer sensor of an android smartphone for detection of potholes and GPS for plotting their locations on the google map. Neural Network has been implemented using a machine learning framework available for android called ‘Encog’.
• Technologies used: Android Java Programming, SQLite/XML.
Seminar-Project: Iconic Interface for Farmers to Retrieve Information
• I co-developed an agricultural information portal which facilitates use of computers amongst illiterate farmer community in India by enabling of context-ware search with visual aids/icons, text-to-speech translator and multi-lingual support.
• Technologies used: Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Basic.
Project: Library Content Management System
• I designed an online portal to provide students with options to search book, read/write reviews of a book, issue a book, etc. and facilitate administrative functionalities to librarian for managing books, members, journal articles, etc. This website also provides a discussion forum for student interaction.
• Technologies used: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, AJAX.
Project: Online Examination System
• I implemented a web-based client-server architecture, which allows users to take exams online. It provides authentication mechanism and allows candidates to keep track of their test evaluations. A candidate can also provide a feedback or submit a query directly from contact form.
• Technologies used: HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL.
Project: Pathology Lab Management System
• I developed an advanced database management system to maintain pathology lab records and to query diagnostic/statistical evaluation.
• Technologies used: Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Basic.
