Subject: Please read this first!!!

 Hi everyone,
 
 This morning I found that our discussing www board was messed up.
 I then called Gu Yaojun asking her looking at it from her machine and
 it shows the same.

 While we were talking that page was messed up again.
 See here.
 
 Since we want everybody to be able to post message and want the newly
 posted message reflected on our board page, I have to give everyone
 writing permission. That's why some one can overwrite it.
 
 I guess that someone has down-load the source files and was doing some tests
 by using those files, but forgot changing the place which update our board
 page. So every time he/she test it, it overwrite the board page. The
 records show that, starting from this morning, Apr 29 06:08 PDT 1998,
 someone has been overwriting the board page many times.
 
 If you want to do test, please make sure you don't write on our pages. I
 don't have time to set up all the security stuff and if all of us be 
 careful we can avoid the overwriting. Thanks!
 
 Right now I closed the Submit function for the following reasons:
 
 1. make sure everyone or most of us read this message;
 
 2. I need some time to recover it. Fortunately, I have been doing the
 backup frequently. I may be able to recover all or most of them.
 
 Hopefully we will recover and reopen the Submit by this weekend. You
 can read messages but can't post new message untill then.
