This is my latest obsession. I'm enjoying running more and more. Unfortunatly, I seem to be overcome by injuries. November 96 I sprained my ankle, and it took me about 3 months before I could run again. Then, in May 97, I got MONO, which took me over a month to recover.

The best part of running are the races, here are some that I've run.

5th leg of the Big Sur Marathon Relay Carmel, CA 4/25/99 3.2 32:00 10:00 First race in a long time. Ran for fun instead of time. I ran the last leg and got to cross the finish line. What a blast!

The Relay Calistoga to Santa Cruz 10/2/98 - 10/3/98 N/A N/A N/A This is a 193 mile 12 person relay that took us just under 30 hours to run. It was a life changing experience, which I wrote a story about.
Wharf To Wharf Santa Cruz to Capitola 7/26/98 6.0 66:00 11:00 Ran with Jenny the whole time. (Or should I say I tried to keep up with her, as she was nice enough to slow down for me!)
1st leg of the Big Sur Marathon Relay Carmel, CA 4/26/98 5.1 55:00 10:40 This was the El Nino version of the course, which started in Carmel and finished in Carmel. So my start was easy in Carmel and about 5 miles out. I wish I had the opportunity to be bussed out to Big Sur. Some other year.
