Tuesday, May 5.

daytime:

Goto work.

Call Pac Bell. Beg and plead that they correct my phone situation. I finally found a human and she took care of everything. I am left feeling that I didn't fall into Pacific Bell's Black Hole(tm)

Call the garbage people. Ask them why I don't have any garbage cans. Out here, they give you special garbage cans so the garbage men (sanitation technitions) don't have to lift the cans anymore. Sounds like a good idea, until you try to impliment the act of delivering garbage cans to thousands of customers... Anyway, somebody put a note on my account to *NOT* deliver the cans after April 28. Huh? She fixes it, and I feel like this time, it is fixed. Time will tell I guess.

nighttime:

Play "Tool Time" some more. God I'm glad I have that cordless drill. I've used that more than my computer this week. Thats a scary thought!

The drill was used to install some more holes in my entertainment cabnet for the stereo system. Everything was moved around a bit, and a few of the components are such a tight fit, that the holes have to be positioned in just the right spot. I keep looking for the "undo" key on the drill. It doesn't have one.

The stereo is installed, and the digial cable TV runs into it, and out through the speakers. Sounds wonderful. We can finally enjoy the DMX stations.

I also install the blinds in the bedroom. Its nice knowing that I can go from the bed to the bathroom without having an audience. Its starting to feel like home now!
