Barbados (Sunday, July 16th)

The Star Clipper in the port of Bridgetown, Barbados.

Happy to be there!

We made it to our cabin (#117). Whoohoo! (Surprisingly, the cabin seemed almost spacious and it was evident someone gave its design a lot of thought.)

Did we mention it was a sailboat? Mary is standing straight. It's the boat that's leaning! :-)

This is the on-board laundry service. No seriously, it's the port hole in our cabin. To be honest, this was a bit disturbing the first night. When we started sailing we couldn't even tell if our port hole was above or below water, but when the splash surprised us we knew we were at the hairy edge... We didn't know if we could sleep without drawing the curtain, but as soon as we hit the bed, we were out cold.

Here's a nicer look out our window the next morning.

What next?
