2010

Simulating Genome Evolution. [4'x3']. This poster won the School of Engineering Alumni Award at the 6th annual Graduate Research Symposium. Needless to say this was very well received.

2009

A Simulation Study of Genotype Phasing Software. [4'x3'] This poster was presented at the 5th annual Graduate Research Symposium. It was not well received because it has way too much text on it. The symposium is intended to promote interactions between scientists and the public, and my poster was really aimed at a very specific and highly technical audience. I should have read the judging criteria much more closely!

Now that I've acknowledged the things wrong with the poster, I will point out some of the cool things; the super-high res phasing diagram that runs across the bottom of the poster, the colored pedigrees, the use of transparency in the switch error plots.
